alpha-adrenergic receptors in the arteries of the nasal mucosa to produce vasoconstriction resulting in decreased blood flow.</li>\n<li>Xylometazoline is a decongestant used to reduce nasal congestion caused by allergies or the common cold.</li>\n<li>Xylometazoline causes the blood vessels in the nasal passages to constrict (vasoconstrictor).</li>\n<li>Vasoconstriction reduces nasal congestion by preventing fluid from draining from blood vessels into the nasal passages.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2><span>Uses of Decozal 0.05% nasal drops:</span></h2>\n<p><span>It is used in the nose to relieve:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Nasal congestion (stuffy nose, including the common cold).</li>\n<li>Perennial rhinitis (recurrent inflammation of the nasal mucous membranes, including hay
